Architectural Wall Lighting, Made to Order
Wall sconces shape a room differently from chandeliers and ceiling fixtures. Positioned at eye level and along the architectural perimeter, they introduce illumination at a more intimate scale while reinforcing rhythm, proportion, and material continuity throughout an interior. Ashore Lighting manufactures designer wall sconces for hallways, stairwells, dining rooms, bedrooms, living spaces, fireplaces, vanities, and substantial residential or hospitality installations.
Our wall lighting is made to order rather than selected from a mass-produced inventory. That distinction allows the fixture to be considered as part of the architecture around it, with greater attention to finish, material, scale, projection, and the relationship between wall lighting and other fixtures within the space.
Wrought Iron, Alabaster & Material Character
Wrought iron is central to many Ashore Lighting wall sconces because it combines structural strength with exceptional freedom of form. It can produce restrained architectural lines, traditional scrollwork, sculptural compositions, or substantial backplates while accepting hand-applied finishes that add depth and subtle variation to the metal.
Selected sconces incorporate natural alabaster, wax covers, crystal, quartz, glass, and other architectural materials. Natural alabaster contributes translucency, mineral movement, and individual veining that make each stone element distinct. Because both stone and hand-applied finishes naturally vary, subtle differences between fixtures are part of their material character rather than imperfections.
Many designs are available in our 10 signature hand-applied finishes, allowing wall sconces to coordinate with chandeliers, pendants, and other Ashore Lighting fixtures throughout a project.
Wall Sconces Customized for the Architecture
Because Ashore Lighting manufactures its own lighting, many wall sconces can be modified for specific residential, commercial, hospitality, and design-trade projects. Depending on the design, customization may include overall dimensions, light count, finish, backplate details, projection, materials, alabaster selection, or coordination with another fixture.
We can also evaluate wall lighting for unusual mounting conditions, larger architectural installations, coordinated fixture families, or projects requiring a sconce to relate directly to a chandelier, pendant, or other feature within the room.
Customers, interior designers, architects, and builders are encouraged to contact our team before ordering when a project requires custom dimensions, material coordination, or installation-specific modifications.
Designed and Manufactured by Ashore Lighting
Ashore Lighting is a third-generation lighting manufacturer, not simply a retailer of designer fixtures. Our in-house design and manufacturing capabilities allow us to remain involved in the details that determine how a finished wall sconce relates to the architecture: proportion, material, finish, configuration, and construction.
The result is wall lighting intended to feel permanent rather than incidental—fixtures shaped to belong to the rooms and buildings they illuminate.
