Ashore Lighting is a third-generation American lighting manufacturer creating made-to-order chandeliers, sconces, pendants, lanterns, and architectural fixtures for residential, hospitality, and design-trade projects. Our collections bring together wrought iron, natural alabaster, crystal, quartz, hand-applied finishes, and carefully considered proportions.
Rather than sourcing finished fixtures from a distributor’s catalog, we design and manufacture our own lighting. That distinction allows greater control over scale, materials, finish, configuration, and the details required to make a fixture belong to the architecture around it.
Craftsmanship Over Mass Production
For over three generations, our work has been rooted in the traditions of the iron workshop. Wrought iron components are formed, joined, refined, and finished by skilled craftspeople, while hand-applied finishes introduce depth and subtle variation rather than the uniformity of mass production.
Natural materials reinforce that individuality. Alabaster, crystal, quartz, wood, leather, and other selected materials carry their own pattern, coloration, and character, ensuring that a finished fixture retains evidence of both material and process.
Wrought Iron, Alabaster & Natural Materials
Wrought iron remains central to many Ashore Lighting collections because it offers both structural strength and exceptional design flexibility. It can form disciplined architectural geometries, sweeping traditional silhouettes, sculptural compositions, and grand-scale fixtures while accepting the hand-applied finishes that give the metal visual depth.
Natural alabaster contributes an entirely different quality. Its translucency softens illumination, while natural variations in color, veining, and mineral movement make every stone element individual. Selected collections also incorporate crystal, quartz, wood, leather, antler, and other materials chosen for their architectural and tactile character.
Made to Order for Architectural Scale
Exceptional rooms do not always conform to standard retail dimensions, and their lighting should not be expected to either. Vaulted ceilings, expansive dining rooms, two-story foyers, stairwells, hospitality interiors, and other architectural spaces frequently require fixtures with greater scale or more deliberate proportions.
Because Ashore Lighting manufactures its own fixtures, many designs can be modified in diameter, height, configuration, light count, suspension, canopy, finish, and other project-specific details. Our team can work directly with homeowners, interior designers, architects, and builders to evaluate those requirements before production.

Ashore Lighting is a third-generation lighting manufacturer, not simply a retailer of designer fixtures. Our design and manufacturing capabilities allow us to remain involved from initial concept through fabrication and final finishing, with greater control over proportion, material selection, construction, customization, and finish quality.
Customers may choose from 10 signature hand-applied finishes, and many fixtures can also be specified with wax covers, natural alabaster, custom dimensions, or other modifications depending on the design. For qualifying projects, we can also review drawings, ceiling conditions, architectural dimensions, and custom requirements before production.
