The SC-500 is a sculptural wrought iron double candle wall sconce distinguished by its sweeping arched support, textured ironwork, and pronounced forged scrolls. Manufactured to order in the USA by Ashore Lighting, the fixture offers ten signature finishes, with optional wax covers or natural alabaster shades.
Key Features:
- Sweeping Forged Iron Arch: A substantial curved iron support rises from the rectangular backplate before turning downward into a decorative scroll, establishing the fixture's distinctive asymmetrical silhouette.
- Double Candle-Light Composition: Two upright candle-style lights rest on individual iron pans, providing a balanced pair of light sources within an unconventional architectural arrangement.
- Expressive Hand-Worked Scrollwork: Pronounced curled iron terminals beneath the candle platform, a rolled upper detail, and textured forged surfaces give the design its substantial artisan character.

The SC-500 Sculptural Wrought Iron Double Candle Wall Sconce is an expressive interpretation of traditional architectural iron lighting. Its commanding curved support, pronounced forged scrollwork, and paired candle lights create a composition that feels both substantial and deliberately unrestrained.
Unlike conventional double-arm sconces, the SC-500 establishes its identity through an asymmetrical framework. A broad iron arm rises from a tall rectangular mounting plate, curves overhead, and descends toward a tightly formed scroll. Beneath this sweeping structure, two candle-style lights emerge from a horizontal iron support, creating a compelling relationship between the fixture's structural geometry and its decorative ironwork.
The lower portion is particularly distinctive. Deeply curled iron terminals introduce movement and visual weight, while textured surfaces reveal the character of the forged material. These elements are not merely decorative additions. They establish the fixture's architectural presence and provide a sense of permanence associated with traditional iron craftsmanship.
Measuring 21 inches high and 10 inches wide, the SC-500 is well suited to interiors that benefit from expressive wall lighting without requiring a large chandelier. Traditional entryways, libraries, formal living rooms, and hallways provide natural settings for its distinctive silhouette. The fixture may also be considered for symmetrical installations, subject to the project's mounting arrangement and available wall space.
The two-light configuration includes standard candle covers. Optional wax covers introduce a more traditional candle appearance, while natural alabaster shades offer an alternative material expression. Four alabaster color selections are available, each displaying natural variations in veining, color, and translucency.
Ashore Lighting offers the SC-500 in ten hand-applied signature finishes, allowing the ironwork to be coordinated with the surrounding architecture and furnishings.
Manufactured to order in the USA, the fixture represents the established ironworking traditions of Ashore Lighting, a third-generation lighting manufacturer. Because we manufacture our own lighting, project-specific modifications may also be evaluated to accommodate individual design requirements.
