The Mission Architectural Lighting Collection is built around disciplined geometry, substantial ironwork, and natural alabaster. Straight lines, circular backplates, pointed terminals, and carefully controlled proportions create a recognizable design language across chandeliers, wall sconces, and vanity lighting.

Some Mission fixtures preserve the clarity of traditional candle-style lighting with standard, wax, or alabaster cover options. Others are designed exclusively around natural alabaster, allowing the stone itself to become part of the architecture.

Designed by our in-house team and made to order in the USA, Mission fixtures are available in ten hand-applied signature finishes, with four distinctive alabaster selections where specified. Project-specific customization may also be considered.

Mission is deliberately restrained.

Its identity does not depend upon elaborate scrollwork, excessive ornament, or decorative excess. Instead, the collection is built from a small number of recurring architectural elements: straight iron members, strong horizontal lines, circular backplates, pointed terminals, and carefully measured symmetry.

Those elements appear differently according to the fixture.

On a single-light sconce, the design is reduced almost to its minimum: one vertical iron member, one circular backplate, one point of light.

Across the vanity fixtures, that same vocabulary repeats horizontally as one light becomes two, three, and four. The proportions change, but the architecture remains recognizable.

In the chandelier, the Mission language expands into a circular ceiling composition while maintaining the same discipline.

The result is not uniformity.

It is continuity.

The Mission collection becomes especially compelling where natural alabaster enters the composition.

Iron establishes order. Alabaster interrupts it.

Every piece of natural stone introduces differences in coloration, veining, translucency, and pattern. Against the controlled geometry of the Mission framework, those variations become more visible rather than less.

Several Mission fixtures are designed exclusively for alabaster, including the complete vanity family and the three-light wall sconce with mini crosses.

Other Mission fixtures—including the one- and two-light wall sconces and the chandelier—allow the material character to be selected through standard covers, warm wax covers, or natural alabaster shades.

Where alabaster is offered, four distinctive selections are available:

Amber
Warm, atmospheric, and deeply luminous.

White
Lighter and quieter, with natural stone movement remaining visible.

Amber with Red Veining
More expressive, with pronounced bands of natural mineral color.

White with Amber Veining
A lighter stone ground crossed by warmer natural movement.

No two pieces are identical.

Their treatment is intentionally restrained.

The crosses do not overwhelm the fixture or transform the design into elaborate ornament. They appear beneath the architectural framework almost as punctuation—small, deliberate details incorporated into the rhythm of the ironwork.

The Mission Collection was developed by Ashore Lighting's in-house design team and is made to order in the USA.

Because we manufacture our own lighting, Mission fixtures can be considered as part of a larger architectural lighting plan rather than as isolated retail products.

Depending on the fixture and structural requirements, our team can review modifications involving dimensions, projection, suspension length, light count, finish coordination, alabaster selection, and other project-specific considerations.

For larger residential, hospitality, and commercial projects, Ashore Lighting can also work from architectural drawings, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and project specifications where appropriate.

Ashore Lighting manufactures the Mission Collection using artisan-finished ironwork, natural alabaster, and original geometric designs developed by its in-house lighting team, with coordinated fixtures for ceiling, wall, and vanity applications.

Mission fixtures are made to order, allowing our team to review modifications when the standard configuration does not fully resolve the architecture.

Depending on the fixture, customization may include adjusted dimensions, projection, light count, suspension length, canopy requirements, finish coordination, and other project-specific considerations.

For larger residential, hospitality, and commercial installations, multiple Mission fixtures may also be coordinated across adjoining spaces.
