The Phoenix Sculptural Wrought Iron Pendant Light brings the collection’s distinctive intersecting ironwork into a compact architectural composition. Slender iron members converge through a narrow central passage before extending outward to support an arrangement of downward-facing cylindrical lights. Shown with contrasting dark ironwork and warm metallic accents, the fixture introduces sculptural movement and focused illumination to refined interiors. Made in the USA by Ashore Lighting, the Phoenix offers a distinctive lighting presence within a 17-inch diameter.
Key Features:
- Sculptural Intersecting Ironwork: Slender iron members cross through a concentrated center before opening outward, establishing the Phoenix collection’s distinctive architectural silhouette.
- Downward-Facing Cylindrical Lights: Individual light cylinders extend from the lower ends of the iron members, directing illumination downward while emphasizing the fixture’s sculptural arrangement.
- Contrasting Material Expression: The photographed configuration pairs dark ironwork with warm metallic light cylinders, creating visual distinction between structure and illumination.
- Compact Architectural Proportions: Measuring 17" in diameter × 24" high, the pendant introduces a substantial design statement without requiring a large chandelier.
- Made in the USA with Customization Available: Manufactured by Ashore Lighting and offered in 10 signature finishes, with project-specific modifications available for consideration.

The Phoenix Pendant is a study in sculptural ironwork, architectural proportion, and the expressive possibilities of a relatively compact lighting fixture.
Its distinctive form begins with individual wrought iron members arranged around a central vertical structure. Rather than extending outward in a conventional chandelier configuration, these members cross through one another, forming a narrow central passage before opening into an arrangement of downward-facing cylindrical lights.
The resulting silhouette has an unmistakable architectural quality. Its visual character comes from the structure itself—an intricate relationship of intersecting lines, controlled movement, and carefully considered proportions.
A Distinctive Relationship Between Structure and Illumination
The Phoenix is designed around the contrast between slender ironwork and substantial cylindrical light elements.
In the photographed configuration, the dark iron members establish a strong graphic structure while warm metallic light cylinders introduce a contrasting material presence. The downward-facing arrangement concentrates the illumination beneath the fixture, making the pendant especially compelling where architectural lighting must contribute both atmosphere and a defined lighting function.
The design maintains its identity from multiple viewing angles. As the individual iron members cross and separate, their relationships change, giving the fixture a dimensional character beyond that of a conventional pendant.
Architectural Character at a More Intimate Scale
Measuring 17 inches in diameter and 24 inches high, the Phoenix translates the collection’s larger sculptural language into a more concentrated form.
It may be considered for kitchen islands, breakfast areas, intimate dining spaces, and other interiors where a smaller pendant is appropriate. Multiple Phoenix pendants may also be considered for coordinated installations, subject to the proportions and electrical requirements of the project.
The pendant provides a distinctive alternative to conventional lanterns, simple cylindrical pendants, and exposed-bulb lighting.
Made in the USA. Designed and Manufactured by Ashore Lighting.
As a third-generation American lighting manufacturer, Ashore Lighting approaches each fixture as an architectural composition rather than an assembly of decorative components.
We manufacture our own lighting, allowing our in-house design team and workshop to maintain direct involvement in the structure, proportions, finish, and final character of each piece.
The Phoenix Pendant is made to order and offered in 10 signature finishes. Because we are the manufacturer, we can also evaluate requests for custom suspension lengths, finish direction, and select design modifications for specialized residential and architectural projects.
The Phoenix Pendant demonstrates how an expressive structural design can retain its presence even when translated into a more intimate scale.
