Phoenix Sculptural Wrought Iron Pendant Light

The Phoenix Pendant is a study in sculptural ironwork, architectural proportion, and the expressive possibilities of a relatively compact lighting fixture.

Its distinctive form begins with individual wrought iron members arranged around a central vertical structure. Rather than extending outward in a conventional chandelier configuration, these members cross through one another, forming a narrow central passage before opening into an arrangement of downward-facing cylindrical lights.

The resulting silhouette has an unmistakable architectural quality. Its visual character comes from the structure itself—an intricate relationship of intersecting lines, controlled movement, and carefully considered proportions.

A Distinctive Relationship Between Structure and Illumination

The Phoenix is designed around the contrast between slender ironwork and substantial cylindrical light elements.

In the photographed configuration, the dark iron members establish a strong graphic structure while warm metallic light cylinders introduce a contrasting material presence. The downward-facing arrangement concentrates the illumination beneath the fixture, making the pendant especially compelling where architectural lighting must contribute both atmosphere and a defined lighting function.

The design maintains its identity from multiple viewing angles. As the individual iron members cross and separate, their relationships change, giving the fixture a dimensional character beyond that of a conventional pendant.

Architectural Character at a More Intimate Scale

Measuring 17 inches in diameter and 24 inches high, the Phoenix translates the collection’s larger sculptural language into a more concentrated form.

It may be considered for kitchen islands, breakfast areas, intimate dining spaces, and other interiors where a smaller pendant is appropriate. Multiple Phoenix pendants may also be considered for coordinated installations, subject to the proportions and electrical requirements of the project.

The pendant provides a distinctive alternative to conventional lanterns, simple cylindrical pendants, and exposed-bulb lighting.
