The sconce features a hand-forged wrought iron backplate and support arm, crafted with clean lines and minimal ornamentation. This simplified structure allows the materials to take center stage—highlighting the natural beauty of both the iron and the alabaster.

At the top of the design sits a cylindrical alabaster shade, carefully selected for its natural veining and soft translucency. When illuminated, the alabaster emits a warm, ambient glow that enhances the surrounding space without harsh brightness. Each shade is unique, offering subtle variations in tone and pattern.

A defining element of this piece is its elongated vertical stem, which extends below the light source. This creates a sense of height and visual balance, making it particularly effective in spaces where vertical scale is important—such as hallways, flanking mirrors, or entry walls.
