One Collection, Four Architectural Scales
The Mid-Century Mission collection was designed as a coordinated family rather than a group of unrelated wall sconces. Each configuration carries forward the same circular backplate, rectilinear wrought iron framework, upright lights, and suspended faceted crystal accents.
What changes is the width and number of lights.
The one-light wall sconce concentrates the design into a slender six-inch profile. The two-light wall sconce introduces symmetry while remaining compact. The three-light wall sconce expands the composition for moderately sized walls, and the four-light alabaster wall sconce creates a broad architectural statement suitable for larger rooms and prominent installations.
This progression allows homeowners, designers, and architects to use the same visual language in multiple areas without forcing one fixture size into every location. A one-light version might be used along a corridor while the two-light configuration frames a fireplace and the wider three- or four-light design anchors a dining room or library wall.
Standard, Wax, or Natural Alabaster Covers
All Mid-Century Mission wall sconces come with standard covers. They may be upgraded with wax covers or natural alabaster shades depending on the desired material character and lighting effect.
Wax covers provide a warm, candlelike appearance that complements the collection’s architectural ironwork. Natural alabaster introduces organic veining, tonal movement, and subtle variations in translucency. When illuminated, the stone softly diffuses the light and reveals characteristics formed within the material.
Alabaster is available in four distinctive colors:

Because alabaster is a natural material, no two covers will be perfectly identical. Individual differences in tone, veining, pattern, and translucency are expected and contribute to the character of each made-to-order fixture.
Ten Signature Finishes
Every Mid-Century Mission wall sconce is available in ten hand-applied signature finishes. The chosen finish can strengthen the fixture’s architectural geometry, create contrast with the covers, or coordinate the ironwork with surrounding hardware and furnishings.
The collection can move from subdued and quietly architectural to warmer and more decorative depending on the finish, cover material, and alabaster selection. Because the finishes are applied by artisans, subtle variations in texture, depth, and tone are a natural part of the finished lighting.

The Mid-Century Mission collection was developed by our in-house design team and is made to order in the USA. Ashore Lighting manufactures its own lighting, giving our team the ability to review more than the standard finish and cover selections.
