The Riley Heritage Wrought Iron Lantern is a made-to-order lighting fixture built around one of the most enduring forms in architectural lighting: the suspended lantern.

Rather than enclosing the light behind glass, Riley uses an open wrought iron framework to define its silhouette. Curving vertical members rise into a shaped crown while a secondary inner frame surrounds the suspended candle cluster. The result is a fixture with considerable height and presence that remains visually open from every direction.

That openness makes Riley particularly effective in spaces where the chandelier or pendant is viewed from multiple elevations. Foyers, stairwells, vaulted rooms, gallery-like passages, and tall dining spaces can accommodate its vertical architecture without the fixture appearing excessively heavy.

Each Riley is made to order in the USA by Ashore Lighting. The iron structure is produced and finished as part of our own lighting manufacturing process rather than sourced as a completed decorative fixture.

Choose from ten hand-applied signature finishes to coordinate the ironwork with the surrounding architecture. The fixture may be specified with standard candle covers, optional wax covers for a warmer traditional character, or natural alabaster shades for a more substantial material expression. Alabaster is available in four color selections where offered, and natural variation in tone, veining, translucency, and pattern is expected.
