The Alpine Architectural Alabaster Pendant — Large pairs a tall rectilinear natural alabaster shade with a substantial wrought iron cap and chain suspension. Its disciplined geometry and softly illuminated stone create a quiet architectural presence for kitchen islands, entries, stair halls, bars, powder rooms, and repeated pendant installations. Made to order in the USA in ten signature finishes and four alabaster colors.

Key Features:

  • Tall architectural alabaster form: The larger natural stone shade creates a substantial vertical presence without requiring a broad fixture footprint.
  • Disciplined iron-and-stone construction: A clean wrought iron cap frames the alabaster without competing with its natural veining and luminosity.
  • Designed for singular or repeated use: Works independently or in multiples above islands, counters, bars, vanities, and long architectural surfaces.
  • Four natural alabaster selections: Choose Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, or White with Amber Veining, each with naturally occurring variation.
  • Made-to-order flexibility: Available in ten signature finishes with project-specific suspension, scale, finish, and alabaster adjustments considered where appropriate.

Dimensions: 13" H x 7" W

The Alpine Architectural Alabaster Pendant — Large reduces the collection’s material language to its clearest expression: natural alabaster, disciplined ironwork, and light. A tall rectilinear stone shade is set beneath a substantial wrought iron cap and suspended from chain, creating a pendant with enough visual weight to stand alone while remaining restrained enough to use in repetition.

The larger proportion gives the alabaster a particularly strong presence when illuminated. Rather than functioning as a conventional opaque shade, the natural stone becomes part of the light itself, revealing veining, tonal movement, and variations in translucency across its surfaces. No two pieces of alabaster will appear exactly alike, giving each pendant subtle individuality.

Its narrow footprint makes the Alpine well suited to kitchen islands, bars, entries, stair landings, powder rooms, bedside applications, and architectural corridors. Multiple pendants can also be arranged in a measured sequence where rhythm and material continuity are more appropriate than a single broad chandelier.

Four alabaster selections are available: Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining. The surrounding ironwork may be specified in any of Ashore Lighting’s ten hand-applied signature finishes.

The Alpine is made to order in the USA. Because Ashore Lighting manufactures its own lighting, project-specific adjustments may be considered for suspension length, finish direction, alabaster selection, scale, and coordinated installations involving other fixtures from the Alpine collection.

Natural Stone Given Architectural Discipline

The Alpine relies on proportion rather than ornament. A tall block of luminous alabaster is contained by restrained ironwork, allowing the stone’s veining and translucency to become the visual detail. Used alone, the pendant creates a composed point of light; repeated in sequence, it establishes rhythm and material continuity across a larger interior.

Build the Alpine Composition from One Pendant to Many

The large Alpine pendant can be used individually or repeated where a measured sequence of natural stone light is desired. FAQ

Both use the same architectural iron-and-alabaster design language, but the large Alpine has a more substantial stone presence. The appropriate size depends on ceiling height, surrounding furnishings, whether the pendant will stand alone, and whether several fixtures will be installed together.

Yes. The narrow rectilinear form works especially well in repeated installations over kitchen islands, bars, long counters, and similar surfaces. Spacing and suspension lengths can be coordinated to suit the proportions of the installation.

No. Alabaster is a natural stone, so coloration, veining, pattern, and translucency vary from piece to piece. These differences are expected and give each illuminated pendant its own material character.

The Alpine is available in Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining. Natural variation will occur within every color family.

Yes. Because we manufacture our own lighting, suspension length and other project-specific details may be reviewed for the ceiling height, installation location, and desired relationship to surrounding architecture.
