Architectural Ironwork with Nothing to Conceal

The Craftsman chandelier derives much of its identity from components that other fixtures might attempt to hide. Riveted straps, squared brackets, chain connections, structural supports, and lower iron members remain visible and become part of the composition itself.

In the eight-light version, those elements have enough scale to be appreciated individually without disrupting the chandelier's overall restraint. The result is a fixture that rewards both the distant architectural view and closer inspection of the ironwork.

Select standard covers for the clearest expression of its structure, wax covers for a more traditional candlelight character, or natural alabaster shades to introduce luminous stone and organic variation against the disciplined iron frame.

Built from the Connections Outward

The Craftsman design makes its method of construction visible. Iron bands, brackets, chain connections, curved supports, and smaller joining components are individually formed and assembled before the fixture moves through finishing, wiring, candle treatment, and final inspection. Those connections are not incidental to the design—they are what give the chandelier its architectural identity.

FAQ

The eight-light Craftsman is a broader and more substantial single-tier interpretation of the design. It retains the exposed riveted construction and articulated suspension of the four-light chandelier while adding eight lights and more pronounced lower ironwork for greater architectural presence.

Visible riveted straps, squared brackets, iron connections, chainwork, and structural supports form part of the finished design. These elements are intentionally exposed rather than concealed, giving the chandelier a distinctly constructed and material-driven character.

Yes. The Craftsman Eight-Light chandelier is available with standard covers, optional wax covers, or natural alabaster shades. Selecting alabaster reveals the available natural alabaster color choices.

Yes. Alabaster is a natural material, so differences in color, veining, pattern, and translucency should be expected. Those variations are part of the character of genuine stone.

Yes. The Craftsman family includes additional multi-tier chandelier configurations as well as a coordinating wall sconce. Because we manufacture our own lighting, project-specific sizing or design modifications may also be considered.
