Stone Float Architectural Linear Alabaster Chandelier

There are lighting fixtures that follow the architecture of a room, and others that become part of its architectural expression. Stone Float belongs to the latter.

Defined by suspended natural alabaster and an exposed wrought iron framework, the Stone Float Architectural Linear Alabaster Chandelier creates a striking composition of material, light, and negative space. Its illuminated stone panels appear to float within the structure, allowing the natural character of the alabaster to emerge without unnecessary ornamentation.

The alabaster is central to the design. Rather than concealing the irregularities of natural stone, Stone Float presents them as part of the composition. Organic edges, subtle changes in coloration, and variations in translucency give the fixture a character that cannot be replicated through uniform manufactured materials. When illuminated, the stone reveals a warm interior glow that contrasts with the deliberate geometry of the supporting ironwork.

Above the alabaster, an open rectangular framework establishes the chandelier’s architectural proportions. Slender suspension cables connect the composition to its ceiling canopy, allowing the individual elements to remain visually distinct. The result is substantial without appearing visually crowded.

Stone Float is particularly suited to interiors where lighting must establish a focal point without interrupting the surrounding architecture. Its linear profile lends itself to dining tables, kitchen islands, and billiard tables, while its sculptural construction also makes it appropriate for distinctive residential and hospitality interiors.

The chandelier is offered in ten hand-applied signature finishes and four natural alabaster selections: Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining. Each selection offers a different relationship between the ironwork, stone, and surrounding interior palette.
