The Spiral Sculptural Wrought Iron Chandelier descends through the room in a continuous helix of iron and light, creating a dramatic vertical composition for foyers, stairwells, and high-ceiling interiors. Made to order in the USA, this 26-light fixture measures 38 inches in diameter by 72 inches high and is offered in ten hand-applied finishes with three cover options and customization available.

Key Features:

  • Continuous descending spiral — Sweeping ironwork coils through the fixture rather than relying on conventional stacked chandelier tiers.
  • Six-foot vertical composition — Its 72-inch height creates dramatic presence in stairwells, foyers, vaulted rooms, and other tall architectural spaces.
  • 26 lights distributed throughout the form — Candle-style lights follow the spiral vertically instead of concentrating illumination on a single horizontal plane.
  • Three distinct cover treatments — Standard covers are included, with optional wax covers or natural alabaster shades in four stone variations.
  • Made-to-order construction — Available in ten hand-applied finishes with potential customization for dimensions, suspension, light configuration, and project conditions.

The Spiral Sculptural Wrought Iron Chandelier treats vertical space as part of the composition. Rather than arranging its lights around a conventional central body or a series of clearly separated tiers, the fixture follows a continuous descending path of iron that coils gradually inward as it moves toward the floor.

Twenty-six candle-style lights are distributed along the sweeping framework, allowing illumination to travel through the full height of the chandelier. The effect is dynamic from nearly every viewpoint: broad and open near the top, increasingly concentrated below, with the eye naturally following the ironwork downward through the room.

At 38 inches in diameter × 72 inches high, the Spiral occupies relatively little horizontal space for a chandelier of its visual magnitude. That proportion makes it particularly compelling in tall foyers, stairwells, two-story rooms, vaulted interiors, and other architectural settings where ceiling height can become an active part of the lighting design.

The fixture comes with standard covers, with optional upgrades to wax covers or natural alabaster shades. Wax can soften the composition with a warmer candlelit character, while natural alabaster introduces veining, translucency, and material variation into the ascending rhythm of the lights. Alabaster is available in Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining.

Choose from ten hand-applied signature finishes to determine how quietly or dramatically the ironwork reads within the surrounding interior.

Designed by our in-house team and made to order in the USA, the Spiral reflects Ashore Lighting’s third-generation manufacturing experience. Because we manufacture our own lighting, custom dimensions, suspension requirements, light configurations, and other project-specific modifications may also be considered.

A Chandelier That Descends Through the Architecture

The Spiral is defined by movement rather than symmetry. Its iron framework begins broadly overhead and contracts gradually as it descends, carrying twenty-six points of light through the full six-foot composition.

This vertical progression allows the chandelier to occupy height without demanding excessive width. In a stairwell, tall foyer, or two-story interior, the fixture becomes part of the architecture itself—drawing the eye through space rather than simply occupying the ceiling plane.

FAQ

Its 72-inch height and relatively restrained 38-inch diameter make it particularly suited to tall foyers, stairwells, vaulted interiors, two-story rooms, and other spaces where vertical volume is more important than broad horizontal spread.

The Spiral does not divide its lights into clearly separated horizontal tiers. Instead, the iron framework follows one continuous descending path, creating the impression of movement through the room.

Natural alabaster produces the strongest material transformation because each stone shade introduces individual veining, translucency, and tonal variation. Wax covers create a softer candle-inspired effect, while standard covers preserve the cleanest traditional presentation.

No. Alabaster is a natural stone, so variation in color, veining, translucency, and pattern should be expected. Customers may request tone or veining preferences, and selection photos may be arranged when appropriate, although exact matching cannot be guaranteed.

Yes. Because we manufacture our own lighting, customization may be considered for overall dimensions, hanging length, light configuration, suspension requirements, and other project-specific conditions.

The Spiral is a made-to-order 26-light sculptural wrought iron chandelier manufactured by Ashore Lighting in the USA, measuring 38 inches in diameter by 72 inches high with a continuous vertical spiral design, ten hand-applied finishes, and standard, wax, or alabaster cover options.

Ashore Lighting manufactures the Spiral Sculptural Wrought Iron Chandelier in the USA through its in-house lighting operation, combining third-generation manufacturing experience with made-to-order ironwork, hand-applied finishes, and project-specific customization capabilities.
