The New York Architectural Wrought Iron Chandelier is defined by height, rhythm, and an unusually expressive framework. Eighteen lights are arranged across two elevations, creating a richly illuminated composition while slender iron members rise and curve through the fixture to establish its distinctive architectural silhouette.

At the center of the design, a broad circular framework supports the primary arrangement of candle-style lights. From this level, long iron ribs sweep upward toward a more intimate group of elevated lights before converging at the chandelier's crown. Below, additional curved supports descend toward a compact lower point and rounded finial, completing a form that feels carefully considered from top to bottom.

The result is a chandelier with substantial visual presence without relying on heavy ornament. Its open construction preserves sightlines through the fixture, while the repeated curves and varying light elevations create movement when viewed from different parts of the room.

The New York comes with standard covers included, with optional upgrades to wax covers or natural alabaster shades. Wax provides a warm, candlelike quality, while alabaster adds organic veining, tonal variation, and softly diffused illumination. Alabaster is available in four distinctive colors: Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining.

Measuring 38 inches in diameter by 44 inches high, the fixture offers significant vertical presence within a relatively controlled diameter. It is especially well suited to dining rooms, foyers, great rooms, stair halls, libraries, and other interiors where a chandelier should command attention without overwhelming the surrounding architecture.

Choose from ten hand-applied signature finishes. Designed by our in-house team and made to order in the USA, the New York reflects Ashore Lighting's third-generation manufacturing experience. Custom dimensions, suspension lengths, light configurations, and other project-specific modifications may also be considered.

Sculptural Ironwork with a Dramatic Vertical Presence

The New York uses iron almost like architectural linework. Slender members rise from the broad central framework, curve toward the elevated lights, and continue downward beneath the primary tier to create a chandelier that feels dimensional from every viewing angle.

Its 38-inch diameter and 44-inch height give the fixture an unusually strong vertical presence without requiring the enormous width associated with many statement chandeliers. This proportion makes the New York particularly compelling in rooms where ceiling height provides an opportunity for drama but the surrounding furnishings call for a more disciplined footprint.

Eighteen lights positioned at different elevations add visual depth and allow the chandelier to feel illuminated throughout its structure rather than only around its perimeter. Standard covers provide the original presentation, while wax or natural alabaster upgrades can shift the fixture toward a warmer or more material-rich appearance.

Each New York chandelier is made to order and offered in ten hand-applied signature finishes. Because Ashore Lighting manufactures its own lighting, our team can also review alternate dimensions, hanging lengths, cover selections, light configurations, and other architectural requirements before production.

The New York is a made-to-order 18-light architectural wrought iron chandelier manufactured in the USA by Ashore Lighting with standard, wax, or natural alabaster cover options.

FAQ

The New York can work especially well in dining rooms, foyers, libraries, great rooms, stair halls, and rooms with higher ceilings where its 44-inch vertical profile can be fully appreciated.

The New York uses lights at multiple elevations and an iron framework that extends both above and below the primary circular level. This gives the chandelier considerably more vertical dimension and visual movement than a conventional ring-style fixture.

Natural alabaster softens the illumination and introduces visible variations in veining, coloration, and translucency. Four alabaster colors are available, allowing the fixture to range from lighter and quieter to warmer or more visibly veined.
