Its vertical composition is built around a substantial wrought iron backplate, articulated brackets, and a single elevated light, creating a fixture with strong material character without excessive ornamentation.

Rather than concealing its construction, the Craftsman allows the ironwork to become part of the design. Squared detailing and visible connection points give the backplate a structural quality, while the slender vertical arm rises from the center of the fixture with deliberate proportion.
