The Allan Estate Lattice Wrought Iron Chandelier is defined by an architectural circular frame surrounded by a distinctive pattern of intersecting iron bands. The repeating lattice establishes a strong visual foundation, while candle-style lights rise above the structure to create an open and warmly illuminated composition.

The chandelier's ironwork provides much of its character. Cross-braced elements wrap around the substantial lower framework, giving the fixture depth and rhythm from every viewing angle. Above, long iron suspension members rise toward the central stem, where sculptural connections and restrained curled details soften the geometry of the lower ring.

Rather than hiding its construction, the Allan celebrates it. Visible fasteners, layered metalwork, textured surfaces, and articulated connections contribute to a fixture that feels appropriately substantial for architectural interiors.

Three made-to-order configurations are available:

• Small: 30" diameter × 28" high, 6 lights
• Medium: 36" diameter × 30" high, 8 lights
• Large: 48" diameter × 34" high, 12 lights

The Allan comes with standard covers, with optional upgrades to wax covers or natural alabaster shades. Wax introduces a warmer candle-inspired appearance, while alabaster adds natural veining, translucency, and softly diffused illumination. Alabaster upgrades are available in Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining.

Choose from ten hand-applied signature finishes to coordinate the ironwork with surrounding architecture, furnishings, and materials.

Designed by our in-house team and made to order in the USA, the Allan reflects Ashore Lighting's third-generation manufacturing experience. Because we manufacture our own lighting, custom dimensions, light counts, suspension lengths, and other project-specific modifications may also be considered.

Architectural Lattice Ironwork with an Established Estate Character

The Allan makes the structural framework itself an important part of the chandelier's design. Intersecting iron bands repeat around the circumference of the fixture, forming a strong geometric pattern that gives the chandelier substance without enclosing the center.

That architectural quality is balanced by more expressive details above. Slender suspension members, sculptural connections, and subtly curled iron elements lead the eye from the broad lower ring toward the chandelier's crown, while the elevated lights keep the composition visually open.

The three available sizes allow the Allan to move comfortably between different room proportions. The 30-inch six-light version can anchor an intimate dining room or entry, while the 36- and 48-inch configurations provide greater scale for substantial dining spaces, great rooms, libraries, and lodge- or estate-inspired interiors.

Cover selection offers another opportunity to influence its personality. Wax reinforces the chandelier's warm old-world character, while natural alabaster introduces organic stone veining and softly filtered illumination against the disciplined geometry of the iron.

Each Allan chandelier is made to order by Ashore Lighting. Ten hand-applied signature finishes are available, and our team can also review modified dimensions, alternate light counts, suspension requirements, and other project-specific considerations before production.

FAQ

Yes. Its substantial iron framework, visible construction details, and architectural geometry work particularly well with stone, timber, plaster, and other natural materials often found in estate, lodge, mountain, Mediterranean, and collected interiors.

Natural alabaster creates the strongest material transformation because each shade introduces visible stone veining and softly diffused illumination. Wax offers a warmer candlelight character, while standard covers maintain the fixture's original configuration.

Consider the room dimensions, ceiling height, and furnishings beneath the chandelier. The 30-inch six-light version works well in more intimate settings, while the 36-inch eight-light and 48-inch twelve-light configurations provide increasingly greater visual presence.

The defining element is its circular cross-braced lattice framework. Rather than relying primarily on scrollwork or ornament, the Allan uses repeated geometric iron members to create depth and architectural character around the fixture.
