The Gothica Architectural Rectangular Wrought Iron Alabaster Chandelier brings the ornamental iron language of the Gothica collection to an elongated architectural form. Available in 40-, 48-, and 60-inch lengths with 8–12 natural alabaster lights, it is particularly suited to dining tables, kitchen islands, and long interior compositions. Made to order in the USA in ten hand-applied finishes, with four alabaster selections and customization available.

Key Features:

  • True rectangular architecture: An elongated iron perimeter creates a natural relationship with dining tables, islands, billiard tables, and other linear installations.
  • Proportional 8–12 light configurations: Light count increases with fixture length to maintain visual rhythm and balanced illumination.
  • Natural alabaster shades: Each piece of stone introduces individual veining, tonal variation, and translucency rather than manufactured uniformity.
  • Gothica iron detailing: Exposed rings, suspension members, scrolls, and restrained ornamental elements connect the chandelier to the wider Gothica collection.
  • Made-to-order versatility: Offered in three sizes, ten signature finishes, and four alabaster colors, with custom dimensions and project-specific modifications available for review.

The Gothica Architectural Rectangular Wrought Iron Alabaster Chandelier is designed around proportion, repetition, and suspended structure. Rather than adapting a circular chandelier to an elongated room, the Gothica establishes a true rectangular footprint, allowing the fixture to correspond naturally with long dining tables, kitchen islands, billiard tables, and other architectural elements that call for horizontal scale.

A slender iron perimeter defines the composition while individual suspension members rise toward the upper frame. Rings, scrolls, exposed connections, and restrained ornamental details introduce the historic character that distinguishes the Gothica family without overwhelming its geometry. The resulting silhouette is substantial yet remarkably open.

Natural alabaster provides the visual counterpoint. Each cylindrical shade reveals individual variations in color, veining, pattern, and translucency when illuminated. Those differences are inherent to genuine stone and ensure that no two completed Gothica chandeliers appear precisely alike.

Three configurations are available. The Small measures 40" long x 21" wide x 31" high with 8 lights. The Medium measures 48" long x 28" wide x 31" high with 10 lights. The Large measures 60" long x 28" wide x 36" high with 12 lights. Increasing the fixture length also increases the light count, preserving rhythm and visual balance across the rectangular frame.

Choose from ten hand-applied signature finishes and four natural alabaster options: Amber, White, Amber with Red Veining, and White with Amber Veining.

Designed by our in-house team and made to order in the USA, the Gothica may also be reviewed for custom sizing, suspension requirements, finish coordination, and other project-specific modifications. Because we manufacture our own lighting, our team can work directly with homeowners and design professionals when the architecture calls for proportions beyond the standard configurations.

An Elongated Chandelier Built Around Architectural Proportion

The Gothica does not simply become rectangular by stretching its frame. Its light placement, suspension geometry, and iron detailing have been composed around the longer footprint, creating a fixture that reads naturally within horizontal interiors. Repetition across the alabaster shades establishes rhythm, while the open iron framework prevents even the 60-inch configuration from appearing visually dense.

Compare the Gothica in Square and Rectangular Forms

For rooms organized around a more symmetrical footprint, compare the Gothica Architectural Square Wrought Iron Alabaster Chandelier, which carries the same natural stone and ornamental iron language into a balanced square composition. FAQ

Its elongated proportions are especially suited to rectangular dining tables, kitchen islands, billiard tables, long great rooms, and other interiors where the lighting should follow a horizontal architectural axis rather than occupy a circular footprint.

Consider the geometry of the room and the surface beneath the chandelier. The Rectangular Gothica works naturally with long tables and linear layouts, while the Square Gothica is better suited to square dining arrangements, central foyers, and spaces organized around more symmetrical proportions.

No. Natural alabaster varies in veining, coloration, pattern, and translucency. Those variations are part of the material's character and create subtle differences across the illuminated shades rather than the uniform appearance of manufactured glass.

The chandelier is available in 40-, 48-, and 60-inch lengths. The appropriate size depends on the length and width of the surface below, ceiling height, surrounding architecture, and desired visual presence. Our team can help review proportions for a specific installation.

Yes. Because we manufacture our own lighting, custom dimensions, suspension requirements, finish coordination, and other project-specific modifications may be considered when technically appropriate. This can be particularly useful when the chandelier must align with a specific table, island, ceiling condition, or reflected ceiling plan.
